1. Eligibility

MMU OSSD is intended for use by Multimedia University students, staff, and affiliates. Registration requires a valid MMU-affiliated email address and completion of the OTP email verification step.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate profile information and to keep it reasonably up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Project Listings and Content

• You retain ownership of the projects, code references, and content you list on the platform.
• By posting a project, comment, or suggestion, you grant MMU OSSD a license to display that content to other users as part of the platform's normal operation.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your project listings and for having the right to share any content you upload, including images.
• Project owners may hard-delete their own projects; deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post spam, harmful, inappropriate, or infringing content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with MMU.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform's content moderation, reporting, or security systems.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Content that violates these Terms may be flagged, removed, or reported through our moderation system, and repeat violations may result in account suspension.

5. Badges and Gamification

Badges, rankings, and related recognitions are provided for engagement purposes only and carry no monetary or academic value. We reserve the right to adjust badge criteria or revoke badges awarded in error.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior toward the platform or other users. You may stop using the platform, or request account deletion, at any time.

7. Disclaimer

MMU OSSD is provided "as is," as an ongoing student-built project, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the platform will be free of errors.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
